  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  
  2. Prepare muffin tins by spraying lightly with cooking spray.
  3. If using, mix flax seed with 8 tbsp of water and set aside to allow to gel.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips and stir to mix.  
  5. In a blender, combine banana, oil, vanilla and gelled flax seed mixture or eggs and blend until smooth.  
  6. Pour banana mixture into flour mixture and stir just until combined.
  7. Pour in muffin tins and cook for 20 minutes.
