Bedtime Routine 2016 / The Benefits of Adequate Sleep

I love a man with a plan.  My husband recently developed a bedtime plan for our family adapted from this article:

9 Things Successful People Do Right Before Bed

Sleep plays an important role in our health.  Well rested individuals typically are more level-headed about food choices, so I do feel there is a very direct link to nutrition.  It can also increase energy levels, curb inflammation, allow the body to heal and repair, focus attention, increase productivity, encourage your body's ability to find it's healthy weight, regulate mood, etc. I find that many individuals struggle with falling asleep or staying asleep, so I thought I would share our list.  You may not identify with our 10 ways to spend the last hour of our day, but in sharing I hope to encourage your own reflection and planning.

How do you spend your time before bed?  What techniques have you implemented that have lead to better quality sleep?
